To create standards-aligned resources that reimagine classrooms as communities, promoting wellbeing by honoring the experiences and abilities of every student, and supporting teachers in the complexity of this work through easily-accessed and understandable content. 

Lana has been teaching since 2015. Her resume includes grades from Kindergarten to middle school. After completing an undergraduate degree in psychology and a masters degree in child development, she was compelled to pursue a teaching credential while working with elementary school students in an after school program. As a teacher, she has found joy in the moments when students realize they understand a new concept, and the time to collaborate with her peers.  Present Education has been a natural extension of the work she did in her own classroom to support students and provide engaging content.
